Description
Plate carrier for military fitness and deployment
The 5.11 Tactical TacTec Plate Carrier kills 2 birds with one stone and serves not only its original function as a ballistic plate carrier, but also the most popular functional alternative as a weight vest for military fitness and functional training. Lightweight, mobile, with full comfort and the necessary freedom of movement, the carrier is made of nylon 500 den and designed for maximum performance, whether in training or in the field.
Suitable for ballistic plates or weight plates
The patented TacTec Plate Carrier is made of rugged yet lightweight nylon and features padded shoulder straps, perforated mesh and ventilation channels: so it serves the high demands for comfort and fit during demanding tactical missions with heavy equipment as well as intensive training sessions with heavy weight plates.
As a protective vest, the plate carrier accommodates two ballistic armor plates: it is suitable for medium (31.75 cm x 24.13 cm x 5.08 cm) and large (33.65 cm x 26.04 cm x 5.76 cm) ESAPI plates and can also be combined with Rogue Weight Vest plates.
Custom fit
The cummerbund is designed for a circumference of 132.08 cm - 144.78 cm. Thanks to adjustable shoulder straps with back yoke and skeletonized waist straps with stretch (available in sizes S-XL), the TacTec Plate Carrier is customizable and provides a perfect fit that is especially important during dynamic agility training. The oversized ventilation panels provide optimal air circulation and prevent the body from overheating.
Tactical features
A laser-cut M.O.L.L.E. loop and M.O.L.L.E. platform, as well as an upper management pocket with hook-and-loop closure and pull tab, provide additional storage for essential gear. As another tactical detail, the TacTec Plate Carrier features a low-profile grab-drag handle and a one-hand quick-release cable system to allow for rapid exfiltration in an emergency.
