Tactical plate carrier for use and training
The 5.11 Tactical TacTec Plate Carrier is a real all-rounder and fulfills two functions at once. As a ballistic plate carrier it offers reliable protection in the field and as a weight vest for military fitness and functional training it is the perfect companion for demanding military fitness training. With its lightweight and portable construction of rugged nylon 500 den and superior comfort, it provides the freedom of movement needed for peak performance, whether in training or in the field.
Suitable for ballistic plates or weight plates
The TacTec Plate Carrier is a patented ballistic protective vest made from a tough yet lightweight nylon material. The carrier features padded shoulder straps, perforated mesh and ventilation channels that meet the highest standards for comfort and fit. The TacTec Plate Carrier is ideal for demanding tactical operations with heavy equipment or for intensive training sessions with heavy weight plates.
The vest is designed for two ballistic plates and offers space for medium (31.75 cm x 24.13 cm x 5.08 cm) and large (33.65 cm x 26.04 cm x 5.76 cm) ESAPI plates. Additionally, the vest can also be combined with Rogue Weight Vest plates to ideally equip individual training sessions.
Customized fit
The cummerbund, which is designed for a circumference of 132.08 cm - 144.78 cm, has a range for different body sizes. To ensure a perfect fit, the Plate Carrier also features adjustable shoulder straps with back yoke and skeletonized waist bands with stretch (available in sizes S-XL). This allows for a customized fit and is especially important during dynamic workouts.
To prevent the body from overheating, oversized ventilation panels are integrated into the Plate Carrier to ensure optimal air circulation.
Tactical elements
The TacTec Plate Carrier also offers tactical features such as a laser-cut M.O.L.L.E. loop and M.O.L.L.E. platform, as well as a top management pocket with hook-and-loop closure and pull tab. This provides modular options for additional equipment as usual.
For emergencies, the Plate Carrier is equipped with a low-profile grab-drag handle and a one-hand quick-release cable system to allow for rapid exfiltration.
