  A Hybrid All-Rounder in a New Look

  The new YETI Ranchero 27 combines proven Mystery Ranch ergonomics with YETI’s durable TuffSkin nylon. The result is a solid daypack for urban adventures as well as woodland hikes.

  Materials Built for Maximum Durability

  The combination of 700D TuffSkin nylon for the main body and an 840D TPU-reinforced bottom ensures extreme abrasion resistance, waterproofness, and structural integrity - even under heavy use. This material selection not only protects against mechanical impact but also makes the Ranchero 27 resistant to weather and dirt - ideal for unpredictable conditions or longer trips into the wild.

  Direct Access, No Detours

  The signature RipZip opening system with Y-shaped zipper provides full access to the interior - from the top or the front. This eliminates the need to flip a traditional lid in dynamic situations. The design is especially useful for users who frequently switch between gear items while maintaining organization. At the same time, the YKK zipper system is protected from dirt and reduces wear - a major benefit in rugged terrain and during tactical movements.

  Well Structured Pocket Layout

  The spacious main compartment holds daily gear, jackets, and provisions. A separate padded exterior pocket fits a 15-inch device - perfect for quick access without opening the entire pack. The lid includes a mesh pocket with zipper, ideal for documents, cables, or small tools. Two side hydration holsters keep water systems or tools within easy reach. On the outside, compressible webbing straps allow secure attachment of extra equipment.

  Ergonomic Carrying System

  The carry system is designed for maximum efficiency. Adjustable shoulder straps with load lifters adapt individually to the upper body, while the shape of the back panel relieves pressure on the lumbar spine. The pack’s curvature ensures there’s no pressure on the lower back - ideal for carrying heavy loads over long distances or for active use cases like climbing, surveillance, or trail deployment. The back remains free for full power and movement.

  Stable Features

  Built on a GroundControl base plate, the pack stands upright even on uneven terrain. The abrasion- and water-resistant material offers reliable protection from moisture and dirt.

  Despite its rugged construction and extensive feature set, the Ranchero 27 weighs only 1.7 kg and offers 27 liters of volume - enough space for all-day gear. Its perfect balance of capacity and mobility makes it an ideal solution for mobile units and bushcrafters.
