Description
Revised, streamlined, and in a new, functional design
The high-volume, modular RECCE backpack for multi-week missions by Tasmanian Tiger has been upgraded and is definitely impressive.
Perfect weight distribution thanks to the TT X1 carrying system
The Range Pack MK II has a capacity of 100 liters. It measures 84 x 35 x 27 cm and weighs 4.4 kg when empty. Made of robust CORDURA 700 den and, as expected from TT, of very high quality, this tactical backpack allows for comfortable transport of heavy loads.
A significant contribution to this is made by the unique X1 carrying system: Two ergonomically shaped and x-shaped aluminum rods transfer part of the load sideways to the extremely well-padded hip belt. Another short aluminum rod allows for individual adjustment to the respective body size. The back padding above ensures optimal ventilation and a perfect fit on the back. Soft, adjustable shoulder straps, as well as a chest strap and two additional load control straps, complete the system and allow for precise adjustment in every way.
Large volume and modular design in the Range Pack MK II
The Tasmanian Tiger Range Pack MKII is divided into three main compartments and also comes with three additional pouches that can be attached to the front and sides of the backpack using generous M.O.L.L.E. loops. The side pouches correspond to the TT Tac Pouch 8 in their internal organization and function and can also be attached to other compatible panels through their M.O.L.L.E. system.
The front pouch can be easily separated from the backpack by a zipper and, with its 7-liter volume, hydration system preparation, M.O.L.L.E., and Velcro surface, it serves as a daypack or emergency backpack.
In addition to a large main compartment accessible from the top with a snow guard and hydration system preparation, the lower third of the Range Pack features a compartment separated by a zipper. This is suitable for storing a sleeping bag, for example, and can be easily accessed without having to rummage through the entire main compartment. Lastly, the compressible lid provides ample storage space. The largest pocket located there is accessible from the outside and offers space for bulky items. Another exterior pocket is perfect for small items, while the interior pocket is intended for emergency equipment.
Thoughtful features down to the smallest detail for longer missions
Both the detachable daypack and the compartments of the main backpack are equipped with M.O.L.L.E., Velcro surfaces, D-rings, and various loops and passages for transporting additional equipment such as radios, weapons, ice axes, or trekking poles. Further straps are located on the lid and under the backpack, allowing for the attachment and transport of items such as sleeping mats or tent sheets.
The newly revised Range Pack MKII by Tasmanian Tiger, with all its optimized functions and unbeatable quality, is the ideal combat backpack for longer missions.
