Description
Robust High-Cut Tactical Boot
The Quest 4D Forces High GTX builds on the proven Quest model and is now available in a high-cut version. This boot is ideal for operations in particularly rugged terrain. It combines the support and grip of a mountain boot with the flexibility necessary to squat or sprint to a position under challenging conditions, making it perfect for demanding missions.
Material Composition and Construction
The upper material of the boot is made from a combination of anti-debris mesh and full-grain leather, creating a robust and flexible, non-reflective surface. Beneath this is a Gore-Tex membrane, making the boot completely waterproof.
Gore-Tex Membrane
The tried-and-true Gore-Tex membrane is a technical fabric that offers excellent waterproofness and breathability while ensuring that feet stay dry even under extreme conditions. Made from an ultra-thin membrane of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), it contains over 9 billion pores per square inch.
The pore structure of the Gore-Tex membrane effectively blocks the ingress of rain and snow into the shoe, keeping feet dry and thereby improving wear comfort and user performance. While the membrane prevents water from entering from the outside, its microporosity allows the evacuation of sweat in the form of water vapor from inside to outside, helping to keep the feet dry and comfortable.Thanks to its positioning between the outer material and the lining, the membrane is protected from wear and mechanical damage while maintaining its functional properties.
Anti-Debris Mesh
Anti-debris mesh is a finely woven material specifically designed to prevent dirt from getting between the foot and the footbed, which is particularly beneficial in rough terrain.
Nubuck Leather
The full-grain nubuck leather, with a thickness of 2.0 mm, offers long-lasting durability and excellent abrasion resistance.
The water-repellent treatment of the boot ensures that the fabric does not absorb water during light rain and showers, making the boot lighter and more comfortable to wear.
The non-reflective materials used are specially designed for tactical use to ensure discretion.
Optimized Overall Construction
The SensiFit system securely cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and almost custom fit that supports rapid movements like climbing and rappelling while improving stability.
The tongue construction is directly connected to the upper, which prevents the intrusion of dirt and small stones and simultaneously keeps the tongue centered, thereby optimizing wear comfort and fit.Protection and Support Inside
A protective pad on the inside of the instep provides additional protection and increased abrasion resistance, which enhances the boot's durability.
A 3D rubber protective cap and mudguard surround the base of the foot, effectively protecting the sides from impacts and dirt.Safety Elements
Closed hooks on the lacing system prevent the laces from catching on the surroundings, which is particularly important in dense terrain or during rapid movements.
A lace pocket on the tongue offers practical storage for excess lace length.

The Energy Cell midsole, made from high-performance EVA foam, offers excellent shock absorption, which is particularly beneficial on uneven ground.

The Contagrip MD outsole uses a highly durable compound and a lug pattern that works equally well on both hard and soft or loose surfaces. The Enigma Zero HT2 anti-puncture insert, a woven, non-metallic layer, reliably protects against the penetration of sharp objects.
Insole
The OrthoLite insole provides immediate comfort, enhanced durability, and breathability, and supports moisture regulation and odor control, contributing to a pleasant foot climate.
