Powerful headlamp
The Nitecore NU33 is a versatile headlamp for anyone who feels at home outdoors hiking and bushcrafting. It combines modern design, low weight and impressive light output in a robust, weatherproof housing. It impresses with its clever operation, long runtime and well-thought-out details that you will quickly appreciate when out and about.
Construction
With its compact dimensions and weight of less than 100 grams, the NU33 is comfortably light to carry, even over long periods of time. The housing is made of durable polycarbonate and aluminium, which ensures stability and good heat dissipation. As with all Nitecore models, maximum reliability was a priority in the design of the NU33. The housing is IP66 certified, meaning it is completely dustproof and protected against powerful water jets. It can also withstand drops from heights of up to one metre without any problems.
The headband is elastic, reflective and stays securely in place when running, climbing or working in a tent. The lamp itself can be tilted precisely so that the light beam always shines where it is needed.Technology
Power supply
The integrated Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2,000 mAh ensures a long operating time and can be fully charged in about one and a half hours via the modern USB-C port. Not having to rely on disposable batteries is a plus for anyone who regularly travels off-road or wants to save weight.
Light source
The NU33 works with three different light sources. A powerful main LED with up to 700 lumens, a second CRI LED for close-up tasks and a red light LED for night vision or signals. With a very high colour rendering index of CRI ≥ 90, the lamp renders colours in the environment very naturally and vividly. This ensures maximum flexibility when pitching a tent or navigating the terrain at night.
Light control
The intelligent digital control ensures that the light output remains constant regardless of the battery status, while the ATR control protects the electronics from overheating.
Buttons
The lamp is operated via two intuitive buttons on the lamp head. One controls the main light, the other changes the mode. All levels can be reliably selected even when wearing gloves.
Performance and runtime
With 700 lumens in turbo mode, the NU33 is significantly brighter than you would expect from a torch of this size. It provides sufficient light for navigating, working or running at night on rough terrain. Depending on the mode, the NU33 can shine for up to 147 hours in low mode on multi-day tours where no power connection is available.
In turbo mode, the lamp achieves a beam distance of approximately 135 metres and effortlessly illuminates large areas. For longer use, additional levels of 200 lumens or 60 lumens are available, while the soft close-range light of 50 or 6 lumens is ideal for reading maps or working at close range. The red LED offers a choice of constant light or flashing signal, useful at dusk or when you want to maintain your eyes' adaptation to darkness.Light output Main LED
