• Description

  The md-textil Jed Belt MGS including internal stiffening is the base element of the modular belt system and can be upgraded to a safety belt certified according to EN358, to a climbing harness EN12277 or to a safety harness EN361. Thanks to the AustriAlpin D-Ring Cobra buckle and a unique seam construction that can absorb forces from all directions, this belt has a breaking load of >30kN (>3059kg). The 43mm wide, double laid, TYPVII webbing is manufactured in Germany according to precise md-textile specifications and offers optimum wearing comfort with the highest resistance at the same time. The inside of the Jed Belt is sewn over the entire length with high quality velcro to accommodate adapters for the md-textil leg loops MGS or other equipment. The D-Ring Cobra Buckle is clicked shut effortlessly and then locks reliably. Only if no load rests on the Cobra and both locking devices are operated simultaneously the lock can be opened. This system guarantees completely safe handling. The extra length to adjust the size is for better handling diagonally cut and fixed with Velcro and allows the belt to be adjusted by 10cm in circumference.
  
  The Jed Belt MGS with internal stiffening meets the following certifications:
  - In combination with the md-textil modular belt MGS or comparable: EN358 safety belt
  - In combination with the md-textil leg loops MGS EN12277 TYP C climbing harness
  - In combination with the md-textil chest strap MGS EN12277 TYPE A complete belt AND EN361 safety harness

  To obtain the correct waistband size / correct belt length proceed as follows:
  - Wearing a trousers the usual way in the service / everyday with the belt is used
  - Wearing trousers that you usually wear in service or as EDC
  - There must be NO belt in the pants
  - Pull the measuring tape through the tabs of the trousers
  - Take waistband size

Components of the modular belt system are subject to strict safety regulations and must be returned by us unconditionally to the manufacturer where they are checked and evaluated for possible defects and wear by expert personnel.
