Iconic releasable Plate Carrier
The Lindnerhof-Taktik Plate Carrier Quick Releasable LT025/V-A2 is the 5th generation of the highly regarded and long-proven plate carrier, which has made a name for itself through its use in special forces. As part of the LT series, the carrier uses robust webbing for the PALS loops while maintaining compatibility with lightweight laser-cut products.
Proven Construction with Fine Upgrades
The design of the plate carrier has been refined over the years, and with each generation, it has been further improved. To optimize weight, abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura is used as the base material, complemented by premium webbing, elastic bands, and threads. The new generation features reinforced areas for added durability in operational environments. Additionally, variants in camouflage patterns now feature the appropriate webbing for continuous camouflage effect. For that extra bit of comfort, the set comes with two hook-and-loop padding strips that can be hooked in at the front or back to improve air circulation behind the plate.
Skeletonized Cummerbund with Hook and Loop
This set includes a lightweight skeletonized waistband that can be upgraded with PALS pouches on both sides. This allows for the addition of separate ballistic side pouches. The hook-and-loop fastening at the front allows quick adjustment of the width to fit the current body shape or clothing layers. An elastic area at the rear provides additional adaptability for movement. The initial size adjustment is made at the back using metal eyelets, which also form the core of the quick drop system.
Ballistic Inserts Properly Stored
For optimal positioning and continued comfort, the carrier features separate compartments for soft and hard ballistics. The body-close compartment for soft ballistic inserts is also padded with spacer fabric, which enhances heat exchange for a better body climate. On top of that, there is a slightly smaller compartment for hard ballistics, which can also be used for stand-alone plates. Inside, a webbing with hook-and-loop secures the plate at optimal height, while the compartment is also closed with hook-and-loop.
Modular and Adaptable to Different Requirements
Following the successful concept of the legendary product line, the vest can be easily combined with separately available items. Overall, generous PALS areas allow for the attachment of conventional modular pouches. The waistband, which can be equipped with PALS ballistic pouches, can also be replaced entirely with the LT210/II cummerbund. For easy adaptation to special operational requirements, the Crye-compatible zippers on the back allow for the addition of the Zip-on Back Panel LT632 or Zip-on Back Assault Panel LT400/II in size Small. The removable modular flap on the front can be individually equipped with PALS and is also optimized for the use of interchangeable placards such as the Panel Front Multikaliber 3er MX234. With hook-and-loop fasteners, pouches such as the Multi-Pouch MX174, ballistic groin protection, or hook-and-loop radio and first-aid pouches can be easily attached. For increased comfort with vest setups, the shoulder straps can be complemented with the HL105 shoulder padding. This makes the lightweight plate carrier a versatile base for highly scalable gear configurations for different operational profiles.
Superior Release System
For unplanned swims and rapid casualty care, the plate carrier is equipped with a quick-release system. Instead of having to open several buckles, pulling the drop bottle instantly breaks the plate carrier into its components. The core of the release system is hidden in the back: here, two colorful loops are hidden under a hook-and-loop flap, which then interacts with the metal eyelets from the shoulder and side parts to adjust width and enable fast removal. The fixation follows the assembly instructions from the manufacturer (YT video) and allows for quick release placed either left or right as well as quick separation for the cummerbund alone. The latter is a reliable option for body checks in threat situations, allowing access to all body parts without having to fully remove the vest.
