Tactical Functionality in a Discreet Urban Design
The Helikon-Tex Women’s UTP Pants combine well-thought-out tactical functionality with a civilian, low-profile appearance. Developed based on the proven UTP cut, they offer structured organization for EDC gear without looking like classic combat pants. The fit, specifically adapted to the female anatomy, ensures freedom of movement and comfort in both everyday use and operational environments.
Material
Made from PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop with a material composition of 50% polyester, 48% cotton, and 2% elastane, the pants provide a balanced combination of durability and flexibility. With a fabric weight of 220 g/m², the material is designed for intensive use.
The blend ensures breathability, quick drying, and high abrasion resistance. The elastane content enables two-way stretch, which is particularly relevant during dynamic movement in both urban and natural environments. The Ripstop structure also prevents the spreading of damage and increases durability.
Performance Data
With a weight of approx. 516 g, the pants offer a robust yet still everyday-appropriate construction. They are designed for temperate climatic conditions from 10 to 18 °C, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
The combination of durable material and ergonomic cut ensures reliable performance during prolonged use. Reinforcements in high-stress areas further increase durability.
Functional Features
The pants feature a total of 12 functional pockets that allow structured organization of equipment. Front pockets with reinforced edges are suitable for clip tools such as knives or flashlights, while the thigh pockets – partly with zippers, partly with hook-and-loop closure – can also accommodate larger gear such as magazines.
The setup is complemented by classic rear pockets with additional internal compartments, as well as hidden internal pockets in the front area for sensitive equipment. Knee reinforcements with insert compartments allow the integration of padding for additional protection.
The low-profile cut ensures that the pants maintain a clean silhouette even when fully loaded. Equipment is carried close to the body, around the hips and waist, for optimal weight distribution and accessibility.
Fit and Adjustment
The waistband construction combines a hook-and-loop adjustment with a range of up to 6 cm and an elastic insert at the back. This allows precise adjustment without the need for an additional belt.
Wide belt loops are compatible with belts up to 50 mm width, including tactical models. Additional loops next to the belt loops allow gear attachment without overloading the pockets.
The Women’s UTP Pants are designed for urban use, tactical applications, range training, and outdoor activities. Thanks to their discreet appearance, they can be worn easily in everyday life, while the functional design enables efficient use of EDC equipment.
