  Classic Military Parka Reimagined for Bushcraft

  The SAS Smock Jacket pays tribute to legendary military apparel—revamped for bushcraft, trekking, and tactical use. It combines the unmistakable style of British uniforms with modern functionality. As a full-zip jacket, it bridges the gap between the heavier Pilgrim Jacket and the lighter Anorak Woodsman by Helikon-Tex. Constructed from DuraCanvas, the jacket can be waxed and offers protection against light rain and snow.

  DuraCanvas – Technical Canvas Fabric for Bushcraft and Field Use

  At the heart of the SAS Smock lies the innovative DuraCanvas fabric—a modern hybrid blend of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. This material combines the rugged texture of classic cotton canvas with the advantages of technical fibers: excellent tear resistance, abrasion durability, quick drying, and shape retention.
  
  Thanks to a small percentage of elastane, DuraCanvas provides a light 2-way stretch that enhances freedom of movement without compromising strength. It is also suitable for wax treatment, allowing for customized water resistance—ideal for extended use in changing outdoor conditions.

  Versatile 4-Point Adjustment System

  The SAS Smock features four key adjustment points for an optimized fit: two on the hood, one at the waist, and one at the hem. This allows the jacket to be adapted to weather conditions, gear configurations, or body shape. The dual-adjustable hood offers reliable protection against wind and cold, while discreet underarm ventilation zips ensure effective airflow—perfect for seasonal transitions from summer to winter.

  Eight External Pockets for Maximum Gear Capacity

  A total of eight pockets provide optimal organization in the field: four classic bellowed pockets with Canadian-style buttons and four discreet zippered compartments for flat or temperature-sensitive items. Hidden handwarmer slots under the lower pockets add comfort. Inside the chest pockets, equipment loops help secure critical items, while cord loops on both sides allow gloves or tools to be attached—functional, weather-resistant, and field-ready.

  Military Roots Meet Bushcraft Practicality

  Inspired by the post-war uniforms of British SAS units, this jacket fuses a classic cut with modern design elements. The combination of DuraCanvas fabric, Prym snap fasteners, YKK zippers, and integrated ventilation makes the SAS Smock a dependable companion in all conditions—from mountain routes to forest camps.
