  Tactical Smock Jacket with Military Heritage

  The SAS Smock reinterprets a proven piece of military apparel and equips it with modern features for bushcraft and tactical applications. With its full‑length front zipper and classic fit, this parka positions itself between the heavier Pilgrim Jacket and the lightweight Woodsman Anorak from Helikon-Tex. Made from DuraCanvas, the jacket offers excellent abrasion resistance, breathability, and can be waxed for enhanced weather protection—ideal for changing outdoor conditions.

  DuraCanvas – Technical Canvas with Stretch Properties

  The material is a high‑performance blend of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. DuraCanvas combines the rugged structure of traditional canvas with modern advantages such as tear resistance, shape stability, and fast drying.
  
  Thanks to its elastane content, the fabric provides a light two‑way stretch for increased mobility without compromising durability. It is also wax‑compatible, allowing the jacket to be reinforced against moisture—ideal for extended stays outdoors.

  Optimal Fit Through 4‑Point Adjustment

  To ensure maximum adaptability, the jacket features four adjustment points: two on the hood, one at the waist, and one at the hem. The hood adjusts in two dimensions and offers reliable protection against wind and precipitation. Underarm ventilation zippers enhance airflow and prevent overheating—especially useful during fluctuating temperatures or high activity levels.

  Well‑Engineered Storage with 8 External Pockets

  The jacket includes eight external pockets: four bellowed pockets with Canadian buttons for quick access and four concealed zippered compartments for flat or delicate items. Behind the lower pockets, hand‑warming slots provide additional comfort. Internal equipment loops in the chest pockets secure essential gear, while loops made from robust utility cord on the exterior allow gloves or tools to be attached easily.
