With the Rucker 3.0 20L GORUCK introduces the most feature-rich and performative rucking backpack the market has to offer. Professional backpackers have replaced their regular backpacks with these specialized backpacks long ago. With the new edition of the GORUCK Ruck, no wishes are left unfulfilled here in terms of resilience, comfort and support. Made of a material that no longer chafes even on bare skin and with targeted padding in critical areas, rucking becomes (almost) a walk in the park.
Exterior construction and structure for ideal rucking conditions
One of the most important construction features of the pack is the integrated frame plate, which ensures the support and stability needed no matter how high the pack sits on your back. The slightly wider Sternum Strap, which stabilizes the carrying straps and shifts loads comfortably, provides additional support. The sternum strap is removable. The carrying straps are padded for increased comfort as well, which results in the carrying system being of excellent stability - a basic requirement for safe rucking. The new lumbar padding supports the natural curve of the back. A 10mm EVA foam padding helps prevent pressure points between the hem of the pants or belt and the ruck. The padded and reinforced handles on the sides, top and bottom are not only for transport, but also stabilize your overhead presses or thrusters significantly with the grippier holding points.
A material as indestructible as your will
The most important point to a ruck is the material, which is challenged a lot when rucking. The brand new 210D HT (High Tenacity) CORDURA used on the back of the backpack and on the underside of the shoulder straps prevents friction and allows problem-free and painless wearing even on bare skin or wool. The proven CORDURA 1000D used for the majority of the pack is tough and load bearing, while being extremely water and rain resistant. And if the ruck does get flooded regardless, a drainage holes on the bottom ensure quick drainage. Three rows of M.O.L.L.E on the front are attached. In addition, aHi-Vis reflective stripe on the front bring more safety to your night sessions and missions. Of course, the obligatory attachment panel for your patches is integrated on the front, too, which ensures that your team affiliation, ID patches or morale patches find a highly visible display.
Compatibility with Ruck Plates
Finally, there are almost no limits to the compatibility inside the backpack. In the main compartment, which opens flat for easy packing, there are 4 interior pockets in total: 1 large zippered mesh pocket, 1 small zippered pocket, 1 large elastic pocket and the Ruck Plate pocket. Furthermore, inside you will find D-rings for attaching a hydration bladder and a hydration system outlet under the top handle of the pack. Designed specifically for weighted PT, the Rucker holds a 10LB Ruck Plate or a 20LB Rucker Ruck Plate in the Ruck Plate pocket. With the 20 liter Rucker 3.0, 45LB plates can be inserted into the inner elastic pocket; however, in that case, the Rucker should only be worn upright and not used for burpees or Bear Crawl, for example.
