Crafted from lightweight and durable 500D Ripstop Nylon, it offers a total volume of 22.9 liters divided between a spacious main compartment and a flat compartment suitable even for a disassembled long firearm. This makes it ideal as an emergency backpack, go-bag, survival backpack, or simply for your daily commute.
Clamshell compartment
Situated between the back and the main compartment is a flat weapons compartment with a full-length zipper. It can be fully opened, and the generous loop surfaces inside make it easy to customize and equip with hook-surface accessory-pouches. This 24 x 52 cm space can accommodate short disassembled long firearms, first-aid equipment, documents, or neatly folded shirts for your business trip.
Hydration-compatible main compartment
The top-loading backpack features a zippered top lid for quick access. Inside, there's a hanger for a hydration bladder that is separated from the rest of the content by a sleeve, that can also be used for a laptop. Hose or cable ports are conveniently located on the sides. Inside, there are two open side pockets to ensure that gloves or other small items don't get lost in this backpack. Thanks to generous use of loop surface, this compartment can be easily customized with separate hook-in pouches for personalized organization.

For optimal organization, the backpack is equipped with external storage spaces that are easily accessible from the outside, even in a hurry. There's a zippered pocket on the lid, perfect for storing sunglasses, a wallet, or a keyring. A flat front pocket with a vertical zipper is ideal for items like notebooks and writing tools. Additionally, the daypack has two side stretch pockets, which are perfect for keeping your thermos bottle within easy reach during your daily commute.
No compromises on comfort
Equipped with padded panels on the stiff back-system and breathable Eberlestock shoulder straps, this backpack remains comfortable even during strenuous activities. With load control straps, the weight stays close to your back, and the shoulder straps are adjustable for various torso lengths. A D-ring and a gear loop prominently featuring the Eberlestock logo help organize hoses, cables, and tools like radios and GPS devices. A detachable and height-adjustable chest strap ensures a secure fit during sprints for the bus and challenging shortcuts. Even with 16 liters of capacity, the Eberlestock S1 Jacknife Pack can get heavy, so Eberlestock has integrated a channel for an optional hip belt. This channel is compatible with hip belts from other models, transforming this compact daypack into a true load-bearing champion. When it comes to lifting and loading the daypack, a thick handle located between the shoulder straps makes it easy to grab.
Useful design features
To secure accessories and keep the tactical backpack compact, it features two compression straps on each side. Equipped with quick-release buckles, these straps can be opened rapidly, allowing you to fully access the flat weapons compartment or to remove the tripod. To make the zippers easy to grab even in a hurry and when wearing tactical gear, all zipper sliders are equipped with Eberlestock zipper pulls.
