Carinthia's excellent reputation is based on uncompromising cold protection equipment with custom developed synthetic G-Loft filling material, which keeps the wearer warm and ready for action even into the deep sub-zero temperatures. In extreme cold, waterproof protection often plays a secondary role, as the air tends to be dry and icy and a combination of maximum breathability and insulation is required. When temperatures shift towards the dew point, new challenges arise. The combination of cold and wet conditions creates a whole new set of requirements for clothing.
The demand for breathability remains, but in addition it must be ensured that no moisture from the outside penetrates into the system. For this purpose, Carinthia relies on tried and tested GORE-TEX, which masters the balancing act of breathability and moisture protection like no other material.
