By definition, a parka is an overlong anarok that ends at the thighs and is made for extreme cold situations. Carinthia follows the specifications with the Tactical Parka and adds tactical refinements: Side zippers with magnetic snaps, for example, allow quick access to a holster or your plate carrier. Two zippered front chest pockets and 2 mesh pockets inside can secure small items or comm gear, and the two large side pockets keep hands warm even when wearing gloves.
The full-length zipper is covered with a magnetic closure and can be closed up to the high collar - no chance for penetrating cold. The hood frames the collar and is individually adjusted with an elastic drawstring. It can be tucked away.
