Ballistic visor for CMR-1 rail system
The BAV-1 TP is a ballistic visor made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate and PMMA. The engineered plastics are particularly break- and tear-resistant and the visor can be used in all application scenarios thanks to an optional anti-fog coating. With a high translucency of transparency and very minimised distortion, the view remains clear at all times.
Cuts and attachments
The visor is available in three different versions: Standard Cut, Short Cut and Wave Cut. In each form, the connection to the CMR-1 rail system is made via Busch's own SCS system, so that the visor can be changed in seconds during use. Even with the visor attached, the rail system remains free for other accessories such as lamps or cameras. Of course, the visor is fully compatible with standard gas masks and hearing protectors.
The BAV-1 TP visor can be fixed in 5 different positions, even with one hand, using the 5-point detent. The weight varies depending on the cut, but is about 1470 g for the largest standard cut.
The SCS visor system is compatible with all helmets with CMR-1 rail system.
