Technically unbeaten and more versatile in comfort and modularity than any other helmet in the field of high-risk close combat operations, the helmet delivers unfailing ballistic performance with maximum customisability. The AMP-1 TP is offered here in the High Cut version.
Fit - Individual size adjustment with only one helmet
Especially for those procuring large units, Busch PROtective`s principle of One Size Fits All has proven to be an uncomplicated yet uncompromising solution. The harness inside can be adjusted to fit all head sizes, so that it is possible to vary between sizes XS and XL with just one helmet. The adjustment wheel for the harness can be easily operated with one hand and the helmet size in the entire size spectrum can thus be adjusted in seconds. The 4-point attachment of the harness straps ensures the stability and safety of the harness and guarantees a resilient fit.
Comfort and safety - Two-level padding
Safety from bumps or thuds is provided by the two-stage system of padding: removable and replaceable memory foam pads can be inserted inside according to preference, and are available in different thicknesses. The pads are not only responsible for the inner padding, but also provide sensible heat management and keep a cool head under the helmet.
However, it is not only the memory foam pads that protect the head from impact: the Energy Pad System under the actual pads is an additional mechanism that absorbs the energy of blows and thus acts preventively against blunt trauma.Ballistic protection - Helmet shell in ACH style
Where the padding inside protects against impacts and blunt impact, the AMP-1 TP's Kevlar outer shell brings impenetrable ballistic protection with Busch's patented EBSP technology. The shell, which allows no ballistic penetration and boasts an average rear deformation of less than 4 mm/0.156 inch, is exceptionally thermally resistant. The shape of the helmet is the classic ACH cut, the Advanced Combat Helmet Style: this ensures all-round ballistic and impact protection without restricting the wearer's field of vision or hearing.
Conversion and upgrade with rail system
The helmet shown here with NVG device can be modularly equipped with the necessary additional tools such as cameras, torches etc. via the Picatinny rail system on both sides. If NVGs are not used, a cover is attached. In addition, further connection options can be customised with a hook-and-loop kit.
Thanks to Busch's own Speed Connect System (SCS), visors can also be attached with a simple click; the system is suitable for all visor models.
The AMP-1 TP helmet from Busch PROtective is compatible with all common hearing protectors and gas masks.
