  Lightweight Tactical Softshell Anorak for High-Mobility Operations

  The Arc'teryx Gamma SL Anorak Men's was developed for dynamic operational environments where low weight, unrestricted mobility and dependable weather protection are essential. As an exceptionally lightweight softshell anorak, it combines a breathable construction with protection against light wind, rain and snow.

  Weighing just 260 g, the anorak can be worn comfortably as a lightweight outer layer or as an additional layer beneath other garments. Its low weight makes it particularly well suited for extended movements, high-output operational use and missions where keeping equipment weight to a minimum is a priority.

  Lightweight softshell construction with unrestricted mobility

  The abrasion-resistant four-way stretch fabric delivers excellent freedom of movement by following every body movement without restriction. At the same time, the DWR treatment sheds light rain and snow to maintain comfort in changing weather conditions.

  The material combines durability with high breathability and is designed for physically demanding activities. This makes the Gamma SL Anorak well suited for prolonged movement as well as dynamic operational scenarios where moisture management and wearing comfort are critical.

  Optimized for plate carriers and layering systems

  The trim articulated fit minimizes bulk and allows the anorak to be worn comfortably beneath an additional weather layer or other garments. As a result, it integrates seamlessly into modern layering systems while remaining low profile under a plate carrier.

  The half-zip front design is specifically configured to reduce pressure points when worn with a plate carrier. It also provides effective ventilation and allows rapid regulation of body temperature during physically demanding activities.

  Functional features for professional use

  The adjustable low-profile hood provides additional weather protection without unnecessarily interfering with other equipment. A drawcord-adjustable hem improves the fit while helping to reduce drafts.

  A left chest zip pocket offers quick access to frequently used equipment. Both upper sleeves feature IFF patch panels with V-Lite-compatible retention loops for the secure attachment of identification markers.
