  Durable Rain Protection with Operational Flexibility

  The Poncho U.S. Model from Helikon-Tex is a field-proven solution for tactical users operating in open environments—regardless of the weather. Made from lightweight ripstop polyester, this poncho offers effective protection against rain, wind, and soaking—while remaining compact, lightweight, and durable. Its modular design also enables various in-field applications.

  Ripstop Polyester – Lightweight, Tear-Resistant, Quick-Drying

  The 100% polyester used, with a fabric weight of 72 g/m², features ripstop reinforcement that effectively halts tears, maintaining functionality even when damaged. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, the material does not absorb moisture and dries quickly after use. Sealed seams further prevent water from penetrating critical areas.

  Comfortable Fit Over Gear

  With dimensions of 210 x 145 cm, the poncho provides ample coverage—even when worn over a medium-sized backpack. The hood with drawcord adjustment can be tailored to the user’s head for protection from wind and rain. The generous cut allows unrestricted movement—even during high-activity operations.

  More Than Rain Protection – A Modular Shelter System

  Snap fasteners along the sides allow for the formation of sleeves or joining two ponchos into a large tarp or shelter. Metal eyelets along the edges enable secure anchoring with cordage, such as during high wind or when building an improvised shelter. When folded, the poncho fits into the included stuff sack, measuring just 14 x 22 cm—ideal for transport in a side pocket.
