Lightweight Shelter Module for Mobile Operations and Harsh Environments

The Supertarp Small from Helikon-Tex is a compact, field-oriented tarp system engineered for tactical outdoor use. As a streamlined version of the original Supertarp, it delivers uncompromising weather protection in a highly portable format. Designed for bushcraft expeditions, reconnaissance posts, or emergency shelters, it meets the demands of lightweight gear without sacrificing functionality.

Ripstop Fabric with Integrated Weather Resistance

Made from 100% polyester in a durable ripstop weave with a fabric weight of 72 g/m², the tarp offers excellent tear resistance and low weight. A PU coating ensures reliable protection against rain, snow, and wind, while sealed seams prevent water ingress at stress points. The material construction is engineered for year-round use in unpredictable field environments.

  Efficient Dimensions with Maximum Versatility

Measuring 200 x 250 cm, the Supertarp Small provides adequate shelter for solo operations, including gear protection. With a total weight of just 490 g and a compact packed size of 22 x 6.5 x 16 cm, it fits neatly into any tactical pack or gear rig. 19 reinforced attachment points offer maximum versatility for shelter configurations – whether set up as a lean-to, A-frame, tarp tent, or improvised overhang.

From Bivouac Cover to Tactical Observation Shelter

The Supertarp Small is purpose-built for law enforcement, military personnel, and prepared civilians who operate in wilderness or conflict zones. It functions reliably as an emergency roof, wind barrier, or camouflage tarp for concealment during reconnaissance. Its subdued color profile supports low-visibility use, while the rugged construction ensures operational reliability over extended missions.
