  For those who rely on speed, situational awareness, and mobility, the Chest Pack Numbat Small offers a purpose-built solution for professional use. Developed from the proven Numbat concept, this smaller version targets users who deliberately avoid excess and focus strictly on what is essential.

  With a volume of 2.6 liters and a weight of only 207 grams, the Numbat Small represents an efficient, body-close carry solution – ideal for covert deployments, urban missions, or dynamic outdoor operations.

  Flexible Carry Configuration – Chest or Waist

  The detachable harness system allows use as a traditional chest rig or as a compact waist-mounted pouch. This versatility opens up tactical options – whether in full gear or civilian settings.

  The quick-release strap system provides a secure fit without interfering with backpacks or plate carriers. A flat zippered front pocket ensures immediate access to small tools, comms equipment, or documents.

  Durability Through Premium Materials

  Constructed from Cordura 500D, the Numbat Small delivers excellent tear and abrasion resistance along with protection against moisture and UV exposure – built for long-term field use.

  The inner lining is made of 100% nylon for smooth handling. The back panel combines 93% nylon and 7% elastane to ensure a comfortable, body-contoured fit. Polyester mesh ventilation zones allow airflow during movement and prevent heat buildup.

  MOLLE/PALS – Scalable as Needed

  The MOLLE/PALS-compatible front panel enables the attachment of additional pouches, radios, or med gear. Reinforced grommets secure tools, carabiners, or knives – even under stress.

  One more mounting point on the bottom expands loadout capabilities – ideal for gloves, cords, or small tools.

  Efficient Interior Layout with VIS Support

  The velour-lined rear wall is fully compatible with the VIS (Versatile Insert System), making modular configuration fast and reliable.

  A removable map sleeve and multiple internal organizers provide structured storage – everything quickly accessible and securely held in place.

  Both Numbat versions provide direct access to gear, worn close to the body. The choice between classic Numbat and Numbat Small depends on mission duration, loadout, and carry preferences.

  The larger Numbat offers 3 liters of volume, making it suitable for full gear setups. At 479 g, it remains ergonomic and comfortable. With multiple compartments, MOLLE webbing, and bottom attachment options, it supports a wide operational range.
