The MCDU Combat Shirt is part of the Modern Combat Dress Uniform and has been specifically designed for professional use in highly dynamic and demanding environments. It combines excellent freedom of movement with functional durability and is the ideal complement to tactical MCDU pants – optimized for infantry missions, CQB, and extended operations under load.
Material Combination for Maximum Durability
The sleeves and shoulder areas are made from durable NyCo Ripstop – a blend of 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This material ensures high tear resistance and abrasion durability while maintaining comfort.
The ripstop weave prevents further tearing in case of localized damage – a critical advantage in both urban and woodland environments. The torso is made of TopCool polyester, treated with a special coating to quickly wick away moisture and maintain a dry feel – even during intense physical activity.Functional Features for Operational Everyday Use
Two YKK zippered pockets on the shoulders provide secure access to essential small items like GPS devices, maps, or compasses. Double hook-and-loop panels on both upper arms allow for quick personalization with unit insignias or flags. The high stand-up collar with zipper offers effective protection against dust, wind, or gear straps, while the adjustable cuffs allow for a custom fit. Reinforced elbow sections provide additional protection during ground contact and heavy use – also suitable for optional inserts.
