  The Numbat Small was developed for missions where low bulk, instant access, and minimal weight are key. As the more compact version of the proven Chest Pack Numbat, this model is tailored to professional users who prioritize loadout clarity and tactical efficiency.

  With 2.6 liters of volume and weighing only 207 g, the Numbat Small offers outstanding performance in a lightweight format – ideal for urban operations, covert deployments, or extended field use.

  Modular Carry System: Chest or Waist

  The core advantage of the Numbat Small lies in its versatile carry system: the detachable harness allows the pack to be worn as a classic chest rig or converted into a waist-mounted pouch. This makes it highly adaptable to mission demands and personal gear setups.

  The quick-release harness stays close to the body without interfering with plate carriers or backpacks. A zippered front pocket keeps essential items like maps, comms, or EDC gear within immediate reach.

  Durable Build with Premium Materials

  Made from Cordura 500D, the pack offers excellent tear and abrasion resistance and protects against weather and UV exposure – built for harsh environments and long-term field use.

  The lining is made of 100% nylon, while the rear panel blends 93% nylon and 7% elastane for a snug, flexible fit. Breathable mesh zones help regulate heat and maintain airflow under pressure.

  Expansion and External Attachment

  The MOLLE/PALS-compatible front webbing allows for modular expansion with med pouches, tools, or accessories. Integrated grommets offer secure mounting points for knives, tools, or carabiners.

  A bottom attachment point adds versatility for carrying gloves or quick-access equipment.

  Internal Layout with VIS Compatibility

  The interior is fully VIS-compatible (Versatile Insert System). The velour-lined rear wall enables customized setups with modular insert panels.

  A removable map sleeve and multiple organizer compartments keep contents structured, accessible, and secured under movement.

  Both versions – Numbat and Numbat Small – serve the same purpose: keeping mission-critical gear close, accessible, and secure. The classic Numbat provides 3 liters and weighs 479 g – ideal for extended loadouts.

  The Numbat Small focuses on essentials only – lightweight, low-profile, and adaptable, yet just as durable as its larger counterpart.
