Cold weather jacket with hood
Sharp easterly winds, freezing rain and a night out? Not ideal, but no problem with the Blizzard jacket by Helikon-Tex. Strong winds, snowstorms and light rain become a minor matter thanks to StormStretch fabric and DWR coating.
StrormStretch in losened fit
The Blizzard jacket is the outdoor version of the Helikon-Tex Trooper jacket from the Urban line. It differs from the Trooper jacket in that it has a slightly looser cut, thanks to which thermal underwear and fleece can be easily worn underneath without losing freedom of movement.
The flexible softshell nylon fabric is particularly lightweight yet hard-wearing. Thanks to the extended cut and the adjustable hood, cuffs and jacket waistband, the Blizzard jacket adapts to every figure type and body length, providing adequate protection from adverse weather conditions. The hood can be hidden in the collar to increase comfort, especially when the jacket is worn with a backpack or waistcoat.
Pocket set-up
Six pockets can be used to carry EDC items, small gear or gloves: Two zipped chest pockets with internal organisers, two bicep pockets and two hand pockets provide ample space. A big plus are the ventilated underarms, which are adjustable with zips. As a small stylistic detail, the hook-and-loop fleece leaves you some space for patches.
