The SFU NEXT MK2 Pants in Polycotton Stretch Ripstop are the best example of how a small change of detail can feel like turning an entire product on its head. With a small change in materials, an extra level of performance has been added and the combat pants have been improved in terms of mobility and durability. The cargo pants has a super flat profile and convinces in the field just like it creates a modern outdoor or bushcraft pant taking the the leap into everyday life.Discreet cargo pants
As a modern multifunctional pant, the SFU Next MK2 has all the features of a cargo pant, but they are used with care: The pants impress with two classic hip pockets, back pockets with fold-over closure, a small front pocket with fold-over closure, and especially with the typical large cargo pockets on the sides that can be closed via hook-and-loop closure. All pockets are thereby flat in profile and thus fit the typical jeans-style cut of the pants. Because the buttocks and knees deserve special attention due to their frequent overuse, they have not only been anatomically stitched, but also reinforced. Of course, knee pads can be inserted into the knee pockets on the inside.Superior material for best performance
The straight, performative cut owes its performance to the superior material combination of 48% cotton, 50% polyester and 2% elastane. The small material adjustment to the previous model makes the difference: The 2% elastane brings the necessary elasticity to the now even more robust fiber, which is thus extra tear-resistant and yet elastic and doesn`t restrict freedom of movement in any way.
To improve the fit despite the stretch content, the waistband can be regulated via side hook-and-loop fastener. It is closed not with a zipper, but with the proven buttons of Helikon-Tex.
