Extended Shooting Mat for Rifle Comfort and Stability
The Extended Backblast Shooting Mat is a longer version of our proven shooting mat, specifically designed for precision shooting with rifles supported by a bipod. The added length offers full support for the weapon system, while the mat remains highly portable – easily rolled up and carried via a convenient handle. A soft hook & loop panel at the front allows for attaching accessory pouches for ammunition, ballistic tables, or tools. Six reinforced loops enable secure anchoring to the ground with pins or stakes, ensuring stability on soft or uneven terrain.

Weighing approximately 1,440 g, the mat measures around 184 × 91 cm (72.4″ × 35.8″) when deployed, and compacts to approximately 21 × 21 × 47 cm (8.3″ × 8.3″ × 18.5″) when rolled. Made from rugged Cordura® fabric (100% nylon) with a material weight of 263 g/m², it combines strength, durability, and resistance to abrasion and weather conditions – ideal for demanding use in the field.
Built for Range and Tactical Environments
The extended surface offers more comfort and functionality for prone shooting, especially with rifles using bipods. The VIS-compatible system allows modular expansion with various inserts and pouches. Anti-slip panels under the elbows and knees ensure stability during precision shooting. Six dedicated loops help anchor the mat securely in outdoor settings, enhancing shooter consistency and safety.
