Versatile Repair Patches
Gear Aid's Tenacious Tape Hex Patches in Clear are hexagonal repair stickers that can be applied inconspicuously on a variety of colors and camouflage patterns thanks to their transparency. The concept behind the patches is that they allow for quick waterproofing of clothing and equipment on the go, without the need for cutting or sewing.
Wide Range of Applications
The transparent PVC features a particularly strong adhesive on the back, reliably sticking to Cordura, polyester, canvas, rubber, TPU, and many other fabrics. This versatility makes it ideal for quick repairs of down jackets, rainwear, bags, and more. After a trip, the patch can be carefully removed with some heat to allow for professional repair of the damage. Alternatively, the adhesive patch can also remain permanently affixed.
Simple Field Application
The Hex Patches are designed for application without tools or additional materials, allowing a hole or tear to be easily covered. The set includes four stickers in two sizes, which are then simply applied. For instance, for larger burn holes in backpacks, a patch can be applied both outside and inside for increased durability. For optimal adhesive strength, the fabric should be dry, degreased, and clean. 24 hours after application, the repaired garment can be washed without worry.
