  With Gear Aid Tenacious Tape Hex Patches in your pack, small repairs to clothing and equipment are simple and efficient on the go. Whether discovering a hole in a tarp as night falls or finding a tear in your waterproof clothing as rain clouds approach, the Hex Patches quickly seal the area, while preventing further tearing.
  

  Versatile Usability

  The four self-adhesive patches, in a distinctive hexagonal shape, are made of black 70D nylon fabric with an extra-strong adhesive back, ensuring optimal holding power on a variety of synthetic and natural materials. Thus, the Hex Patches serve as a bandage for the down jacket, rain pants, tent, or a multitude of other gear items, which can later be removed with heat for a proper repair.
  

  Precision Repairs Made Easy

  Dry the area around the tear or hole for optimal holding power and clean with isopropyl alcohol to completely remove any oil and grease residues. Then choose a repair patch of the right size and stick it over the damaged spot. Smooth it out firmly with pressure, and just like that, the hole is patched without any need for heat or sewing. For larger holes, the process can be repeated from the backside for reinforcement. After 24 hours, the adhesive reaches its full strength and is safely washable. This makes Tenacious Tape not only a sensible addition to the outdoor backpack but also a helpful tool in the equipment closet.
