Improved Alpha LT in second generation
At Arcteryx LEAF, what's not perfect gets uncompromisingly perfected and that's why the second generation Alpha Jacket LT Men's is now available in the Revised variant (Gen2.1). The design of the Alpha LT in 2nd generation has been established for 5 years and hasn't lost anything in its super lightweight, easy to pack structure - it's a strong waterproof and breathable rain and all-weather jacket.
Material
The lightweight jacket is made from GORE-TEX 3L 40d nylon ripstop and its lightweight and breathable properties make it ideal for tactical missions that get the heart rate up.
Hood and hem
When it rains, it pours, and that's why not only are the material properties protective against water in any form, but also the fixed StormHood hood with elastic that can be stowed in the collar. With its soft brim, it offers equally good protection against water run-off, while the hook-and-loop fastenings on the arm cuffs allow the cuffs to be securely fastened.
Fit
As you would expect from a true weather jacket, the generous fit allows the jacket to be put on over multiple layers of clothing in cold weather conditions. To ensure an ideal fit and integration of gear in the field, a vertical drawcord at the waist helps minimize interference with duty belts and PPE. The center-running zipper allows for easy on and off over gear, and the underarm zippers improve ventilation when worn with PPE.
Pockets
For storing EDC and personal items, interior pockets are secured with stretch zippers. Furthermore, chest pockets provide space to store small items.
A waterproof tuff label is attached inside to identify the individual uniform; also, a 4 x 4.5 cm fleece area provides space for patches.

Machine wash in warm water (30°C).
Double rinse.
Wash dark colors separately.
Do not use fabric softener.
