  Water repellent performance winter jacket

  Icy temperatures, snowfall and freezing rain, plus lengthy outdoor missions where alertness can be compromised by more than just the weather conditions, are the ideal assignment for the Delta OL 4.0 Tactical Winter Jacket by UF Pro. Especially when little physical activity can't drive the body's own temperature, the winter jacket brings ideal protection against cold and wet.
  

  Design & Construction

  Simple comfort is ensured by the kangaroo pocket and two large inner mesh pockets where keys, torch and phone can be stowed and accessed with or gloves.
  

  Removable powder skirt
  

  To prevent cold or snow from creeping out to the body from below, a removable snow gaiter is incorporated to seal the jacket separately.
  
  Wrist warmers warm the pulse and the hem of the jacket can also be adjusted so that incoming cold is prevented in the best possible way.
  

  Hood

  The hood is seam-sealed and therefore waterproof. It can be adjusted via a bungee cord. To keep the hood out of the way and the view always clear, the hood is equipped with the UF Pro Hood/Harness System, which follows the movements of the head and keeps the hood stable in position on the head.
  

  Reinforcements at stress points

  To protect the typical stress points from occlusion, the back and elbows are equipped with Cordura reinforcements. Especially when carrying a rucksack or plate carrier, the durability of the material is promoted and wear and tear is prevented.
  

  Heat control with vents

  The integrated, smooth-running Vislon YKK zips in the armpits can be opened if it gets too warm in the jacket. The zips can be opened with one hand and are a quick and easy way to release heat to the outside.
  

  Material construction

  The linchpin of this high-performance cold weather jacket is, of course, the well-designed choice of technical materials and their clever use.
  

  Outer material

  On the outside, the extremely water-repellent and 100% windproof double-layer ripstop laminate provides excellent cold and wind protection. Although the nylon material is so powerful and defies weather conditions of all kinds, it is still pleasantly soft to the touch and also exceptionally quiet.
  

  Insulation

  For the insulation of the 4th generation Delta OL 4.0 Tactical Winter Jacket, Uf Pro relies on G-Loft variants of varying weight. The hollow polyester fibres are used on the torso and sleeves and have the function of absorbing heat released by the body and storing it inside. In this way, they make body heat the asset of the cold jacket and use it to stabilise heat management.
  
  In addition, G-Loft has the property of not absorbing moisture. This keeps the body dry and the warmth stable, even when heavy snow or rainfall puts the jacket to the test. The G-Loft construction is also responsible for the light weight and good compressibility of the jacket, which can be compressed at will without losing its insulation capacity.

  Absolute juggernaut of insulation. Heard stories about dudes wearing it for guard duties in the Ukrainian winter. But so far for my experience, the elbow and forearm areas are reinforced and very thick, this is a weak spot if you're ever caught in super bad rain but for the temperatures this jacket is meant for you're not finding rain except if you're crawling around in snow for a long time. The hood is the weak spot of this jacket too. You can't hide it easily and there's no option to take it off and it kinda flaps so in rain or snow you will catch a bit of snow inside the hood there's no way to avoid it. The rest of the jacket is extremely well made and it feels very very warm but you don't feel like you're overheating. The ventilation zips are well thought out and it's a feature you don't see on most winter jackets, the net on it keeps the jacket from falling apart if the zips are fully open. The wrist warmers are well thought-out and my only criticism to it is that if you are layering with more UF pro jackets like the delta ML it can get a bit annoying if you have two of them or more. And so far no UF Pro jacket has the option to remove these wrist warmers. You can always cut them but in my opinion you are losing a good part of what makes these UF pro jackets great. That is unless the other jacket is purposefully meant to just be a mid layer but with this jacket you will only really do that if you're hibernating at extremely low temps or doing something under -20°C.   Die Jacke jetzt direkt am Wochenende bei 5 Grad, Regen und Wind angehabt. Absolut Winddicht und warm, das Baumwollhemd drunter ist fast schon zuviel gewesen. Wie lange sie Regendicht bleibt kann ich noch nicht sagen aber macht bisher einen sehr guten Eindruck. Größentechnisch hatte ich Sie erst aufgrund der Tabelle erst in S bestellt aber da hab ich sie gar nicht erst zubekommen, bauchfrei war auch nicht so toll. In M jetzt passt sie perfekt. Ich bin 1.73m groß und wiege um die 70KG. Show more Show less
