Accessory Pouch for Gear Organization
The Tatonka Universal Pouch 14x24 is the largest multipurpose pouch in the new Bushcraft line. With an array of loops and internal pockets, it can neatly store an extensive survival kit or various small items for the adept bushcrafter. This modular pouch pairs excellently with the Tatonka Pyrox 45+10 BC but can also be attached to other backpacks with MOLLE or used independently as an organizational pouch.
Construction and Modularity
The back is equipped with loops and attachment straps that are compatible with MOLLE and 5cm straps. A surrounding zipper with pull aids makes the pouch fully openable for easy loading and optimal overview. The front allows for customization with carabiners and shock-cord through various openings. A special feature is the included signal patch, which can be used in the middle channel with four openings as a subtle marker, on the outside of the pouch as a prominent sign, or removed entirely for discreet operations. The piece of loop connector can also be used for separately purchased glow-in-the-dark patches. The material loops at the bottom enable the attachment of carabiners or additional elastic cord to keep gloves readily accessible on the outside of the pouch.
Internal Pocket Layout
The interior leaves nothing to be desired for those who love organization and allows for a broad range of uses. On one side, there are two big zippered mesh pockets that can securely store a headlamp, compass, fire steel, and chewing gum. On the other side is another zippered compartment with transparent material to easily identify contents, perfect for storing spare batteries, changeable bits, erasers, and other small items. On the other side are three open mesh pockets that keep knives, pens, multitools, and cords handy and in place. The shock cord lacing above can provide additional support or be versatilely used for other items. At the bottom, three loops made of elastic band can hold glow sticks, a folding saw, or other equipment that wants to utilize the width of the pouch. Additionally, there are four sewn-in cord loops at the corners to secure gear against loss.
