  Compact IRR Backpack for the ZP System

  The TT Turtle 50 Pack ZP IRR is a compact equipment pack designed for the TT Zip System, purpose-built for military applications requiring reduced infrared signature. As a low-profile, structured back module, the pack is ideal for carrying mission-essential gear, tools or modular components—integrated directly into plate carrier-based load-bearing systems without a separate harness.

  IRR Material and Construction

  Constructed from Cordura 700 den IRR, the pack meets the requirements for low IR visibility in accordance with German Armed Forces TL specifications. The material is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing and designed for extended field use. Durable size #10 Vislon zippers ensure reliable function even in harsh operational conditions.

  With dimensions of 37 × 23 × 14 cm and a volume of 7 litres, the pack offers compact yet robust storage with a total weight of just 572 g. The fold-out main compartment accommodates bolt cutters up to 80 cm in length. An integrated bungee cord compression system secures contents and can be removed if needed.

  Functional Features

  Inside, the pack features a large hook-and-loop MOLLE panel for modular configuration, along with two flat mesh pockets. A hydration system preparation is also integrated. The lid includes a separate zip pocket with an additional snap-button safety closure.

  On the front, there is a hook-and-loop panel with a glow stick insert and an additional strip for name tags—ideal for assignments requiring personal equipment tracking.

  TT Zip System (ZP) – System Integration

  This pack is part of the TT Zip System and attaches directly to compatible plate carriers (e.g. TT Plate Carrier QR LC ZP) or MOLLE platforms with ZP interface via side-mounted zippers. The connection is secure and does not require extra straps or clips—enabling fast deployment, a flat profile and reliable fit under load.
