    Thought-through Design for Tactical Precision

Tasmanian Tiger introduces a new plate carrier with the TT Plate Carrier LP LC Frame, designed for forces with the highest demands on mobility, protection, and modularity. With its innovative frame system, it offers a flat silhouette ideally suited for covert operations and dynamic combat situations, while simultaneously impressing with stability, adaptability, and a material selection developed specifically for extreme conditions.

Materials to Military Specifications for Optimal Camouflage

The Cordura materials, as well as webbings, hook-and-loop fasteners, and buckles, comply with the strict military specifications TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281. These ensure an excellent IRR camouflage effect in the spectral range of 650–1250 nm with a reflection of only 10–42%. These properties make the plate carrier ideal for scenarios where visibility under residual light conditions must be minimized.

    Tegris: Stability with Minimal Weight

The foundation of the TT Plate Carrier LP LC Frame is the innovative Tegris material, a highly developed thermoplastic composite. The 12-layer reinforced side panels provide exceptional resilience without increasing the overall weight. Tegris offers an impressive combination of stiffness and flexibility, giving the plate carrier excellent form stability even under maximum strain. This material significantly reduces the physical burden on the wearer and ensures comfortable deployment times, even when fully loaded with pouches and gear.

    Frame System with Thoughtful Adaptability

The TT SRPP (Tegris) Frame System forms the stable base of the plate carrier and ensures even distribution of weight and protective load. The elastic cummerbund features three integrated magazine pouches (M4 size) on each side, allowing quick access to ammunition. For added flexibility, the cummerbund can be attached at two different heights with hook-and-loop to ensure precise adjustment to the wearer. The adjustable shoulder straps are also equipped with optional padding, which provides extra comfort during prolonged operations.

    Low-Profile Construction for Maximum Mobility

The flat construction of the plate carrier ensures a discreet silhouette, specifically developed for operations with high demands on freedom of movement and discretion. In the chest and clavicle areas, the construction remains particularly compact, without compromising protection. The plate carrier is compatible with SAPI plates up to a size of 30 x 25 cm, offering reliable ballistic protection without restricting mobility.

    Modularity through M.O.L.L.E System

The integrated laser-cut M.O.L.L.E system makes the plate carrier a versatile tool for individual requirements. Laser-cut slots along the cummerbund provide space for pouches, bags, and accessories that can be securely attached. Additionally, a flat, slide-on M.O.L.L.E panel can be hook-and-loop fixed or removed, allowing for quick and uncomplicated equipment exchanges. This modularity makes the plate carrier ideal for missions with changing requirements.

    Optimized for Specialized Operations

Thanks to its flat construction, advanced material selection, and thoughtful modularity, the TT Plate Carrier LP LC Frame meets the requirements of modern forces in every respect. Whether for covert operations, dynamic combat, or tactical missions with high mobility demands – this plate carrier offers reliable protection, utmost flexibility, and uncompromising functionality that adapts to the needs of professionals.

    TT x Tegris

Starting in the 2025 season, Tasmanian Tiger is expanding its material range to include Tegris, setting new standards in safety, reliability, and functionality for the tactical gear in its new collection.

Tegris is a polypropylene composite distinguished by its exceptional stiffness, durability, and impact resistance—all while maintaining a low weight. Additionally, it is resistant to moisture, chemicals, and weather conditions. The material is produced through a specialized process where thermoplastic fibers are formed into sheets or woven structures. The result is an extremely tough and versatile material that performs impressively under high stress while retaining its shape and integrity.

The combination of low density, high load-bearing capacity, and versatile processing options makes Tegris a preferred material in many high-performance applications. It significantly reduces overall weight while offering superior protection against mechanical forces like impacts, shocks, and abrasion. In tactical and outdoor gear, Tegris excels in enhancing protection, stability, and durability without adding unnecessary weight.

Tasmanian Tiger utilizes Tegris in vests, belts, pouches, and other tactical components. Its use in M.O.L.L.E. systems and load-bearing equipment ensures a robust yet lightweight structure that meets the demands of even the most challenging missions.
