The light weight and compact pack size of the wind-resistant softshell jacket comes thanks to the T-SoftShell Light material, which is composed of 94% polyamide and 6% elastane. This material combination ensures that the weight remains reduced and your mobility can be fully exploited. Of course, the design of the jacket has a great deal to do with mobility and Tasmanian Tiger has put a lot into consideration in that regard. The sleeves, for example, are anatomically pre-shaped and the seamless shoulder yoke is conducive to undisturbed movement. Minimal material usage and optimised anatomical design support the natural body shape and thus the performance.
The hood can be pulled together and adjusted. A soft chin guard provides padding for comfort; the chin guard closes off the long front zip at the top. As befits a weather jacket, the cuffs are also partially elasticated and the hem drawstring has an elastic cord. This allows all open areas to be sealed off as much as possible. When it comes to the practical elements, Tasmanian Tiger has continued the concept of a simple yet fully functional windbreaker jacket with the flat-profile design of two welt pockets. The two pockets are barely noticeable and are closed with zips. All pockets have, as is almost standard for outdoor jackets, one cable aperture each, so that all cables can always be routed to the inside and do not get in the way.
Those who use the jacket for tactical purposes will also be pleased with the flexible loop panels on the upper arms, where patches can be attached.
