  Super light mission shoe
  

  The Speed Assault 2 is the update of the popular mission shoe. Super light and grippy no matter what the weather, no matter what the terrain or mission. Whether in the desert or in the jungle, the Speed Assault 2 stands for speed and mobility. Because all of the shoe's materials are unobtrusive and non-reflective, the shoe is ideal for tactical use.
  

  Lightweight

  Most shoes become too heavy when they get wet - a real problem in the field. That's why, in the Speed Assault 2 tactical shoe, Salomon specifically used super-light materials that dry quickly and are lightweight yet reliable at all times.
  

  Outsole and grip

  The well-known and proven Contagrip has a varied relief and the Space Chevron lugs provide great grip on any terrain and surface. Whether on loose, soft, rough or uneven surfaces, the varying depth and sharp lugs with multi-directional grip bring a balance of durability and grip.
  

  Inner sole

  The Salomon Speed Assault 2 is cushioned with Energy-Cell, a high-performance EVA foam.
  
  

  Shank and Ankle

  Quick movements in loose terrain can cause abrasions and bruises on the ankles, which can lead to unstable footing. That's why the Speed 2 Assault has a protective mid-cut with ankle support. At the same time, the seamless Lycra upper with a high stretch content provides a smooth, glove-like fit and a comfortable feel.
  
  Because the shoe's fabrics, mostly nylon fibers, are reinforced, tearing or abrasion is prevented.
  
  For maximum practicality, the shoe closes with Quicklace System, which allows for one-pull lacing that is as minimalist as it is robust. Easy on and off guaranteed!
