  Large HMS Carabiner with Trilock

  The Petzl William Tritac-Lock is a spacious aluminum carabiner that can be used in many ways in the vertical world. The pear shape provides plenty of space and a wide opening for easy clipping. With the H-profile, the locking carabiner has a balanced weight and remains grippy even when wearing gloves. This makes the carabiner an ideal companion that enhances your equipment with versatility for safety-critical tasks.
  

  Automatic 3-Way Locking Mechanism

  The Tritac-Lock closure locks automatically via a spring and keeps the carabiner closed even during vibrations caused by rope movement or motors. To open, the locking sleeve must first be pushed in one direction, then twisted to unlock the gate. These three steps to open make Trilock a highly regarded locking system for rappelling, climbing, and working at heights.
  

  Versatile Usage

  In addition to its simple use for clipping gloves, multi-purpose cords, or other equipment, the carabiner, with its high breaking strength, can also be used for rescues of injured comrades or, with the necessary certifications, for rappelling and climbing. Its spacious shape makes it ideal for placing multiple ropes, self-belaying, as a central point at a belay station, or as a belay carabiner for a munter-hitch belay. Thus, the HMS carabiner compensates for its slightly higher weight of 90g with a wide range of uses. For a consistently pleasant use, the Keylock feature prevents snagging on material when clipping in and out.
