Rechargeable Tactical Headlamp

Housing
The Petzl ARIA 1R RGB is designed with durability in demanding conditions in mind. The housing is impact resistant to IK07 and withstands drops from heights of up to two metres in accordance with ANSI/PLATO FL 1. With an IP67 protection rating, the headlamp is dustproof and waterproof, making it suitable for changing environmental conditions. Despite its rugged construction, the ARIA 1R RGB remains pleasantly compact. This keeps the lamp from adding unnecessary bulk and makes it easy to integrate into personal equipment.
Design
The removable and washable headband features symmetrical adjustment and can be easily adapted to the individual head size. After intensive use, the headband can be removed from the lamp and cleaned. This makes the ARIA 1R RGB suitable for applications where the headlamp is used regularly. The mounting plate is compatible with various Petzl mounting solutions and also allows the tilt angle of the lamp to be adjusted. This enables the beam to be directed precisely into the immediate working area or further ahead, depending on the task.
Power Supply
The Petzl ARIA 1R RGB comes with a rechargeable CORE battery. The battery has a capacity of 1250 mAh at 3.6 V and 4.5 Wh. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. Including the CORE battery, the headlamp weighs only 94 grams. With the CORE battery, the lamp delivers up to 475 lumens in Max Power mode. The maximum beam distance is 75 metres. If there is no opportunity to recharge while on the move, or if standard batteries are preferred, the CORE battery can be replaced with three AAA/LR03 batteries thanks to the PETZL HYBRID CONCEPT. Alkaline and lithium batteries as well as Ni-MH rechargeable batteries can be used. The ARIA 1R RGB automatically detects the power source in use and adjusts its lighting performance accordingly. This combination of an included rechargeable battery and optional battery operation provides additional flexibility when it comes to power supply.
Lighting Technology
The Petzl ARIA 1R RGB offers three brightness levels for the main white light. Max Burn Time focuses on achieving the longest possible runtime. Standard mode provides a balanced combination of brightness and burn time. When maximum available output is required, Max Power is available. The ARIA 1R RGB uses a wide and uniform beam designed to provide even illumination in the immediate surroundings. This keeps areas such as the space in front of the hands or feet clearly visible without concentrating the light on a single small point. The result is an evenly illuminated field of view for work and activities at close range.
In addition to white light, the Petzl ARIA 1R RGB Camo provides red, green and blue light. Depending on the situation, the three colours can be used in continuous or flashing mode. The subdued coloured light helps preserve the eye’s dark adaptation and provides more discreet illumination when bright white light is not required or is deliberately avoided. This allows the lamp to cover different lighting situations without the need to carry additional light sources. White light provides conventional illumination, while the RGB modes are available for situations where subdued or coloured light is preferred.
Easy Operation
The ARIA 1R RGB is deliberately straightforward to operate. A single switch allows quick selection of the available brightness levels, eliminating the need for several separate controls. When switching the lamp on or off, an LED indicator shows the remaining battery life. This makes it possible to check the power status before the lamp is used again. During longer operations in particular, it helps indicate early on whether the CORE battery should be recharged before the next use. For transport and storage, the Petzl ARIA 1R RGB also features a LOCK function. This prevents accidental activation and helps ensure that the lamp does not switch on unnoticed and unnecessarily drain the battery.
