The Leo Köhler Combatshirt in Tropentarn is a true classic for missions requiring ballistic protection. This fusion of a field blouse and undershirt minimizes the necessary clothing layers while boasting practical features. It includes loop areas for rank insignia and name tape, complemented by generous loop surfaces for additional patches on the upper arms.
Impressive Design
The single-layer sleeve construction reduces material layers, enhancing ventilation in hot weather. The hook-and-loop-adjustable sleeve cuffs can be tailored for either more airflow or better coverage. The upper arm pockets, equipped with hook-and-loop closures, compensate for the lack of chest pockets and are easily accessible with one hand. Their overlapping design ensures secure storage of small items. The national insignia on the upper arms is securely sewn on. The collar, inspired by the issued field shirt design, can be closed with hook-and-loop fastener to protect against the hot midday sun.
Materials Meeting Bundeswehr TL Standards
Leo Köhler selected proven fabrics according to Bundeswehr technical guidelines, offering a blend of cotton and polyester for the sleeves, shoulders, and collar. The original Bundeswehr camouflage print is, of course, printed with IR colors. The torso, made from jersey, eliminates the need for buttons or zippers and optimizes heat and moisture management. All hook-and-loop elements also meet the high-quality standards of Leo Köhler.
