Whether you're on urban missions, trekking trips or full-blown bushcraft tours, with an inside leg length of 8.5", these shorts are as well-suited for high-movement missions as they are for extended sessions on the camping chair.
Durable polycotton ripstop fabric for the highest demands
The shorts are made of a durable Polycotton Ripstop fabric, which is particularly resistant thanks to its blend of polyester and cotton and the special ripstop weave. The structure of the ripstop weave strengthens the fabric and prevents rips or holes from spreading, making the shorts extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear. At the same time, they are comfortable to wear, quick-drying and breathable.
Sophisticated pocket arrangement and optimal fit
UTS shorts are designed with a special cut and smart pocket arrangement to ensure a civilian and unobtrusive look, while still providing full tactical functionality. To this end, the pockets of the UTS shorts are strategically placed to carry equipment close to the center of the body, around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced to allow you to attach lights or knife clips without the pockets fraying. The two front pockets close securely with hook-and-loop and have enough room for a smartphone or AR/AK magazine. The zippered thigh pockets, while flat in surface profile, actually surprise with plenty of room for, say, a smartphone or important EDC. Two wide back pockets also have two narrower integrated pockets.
The elastic waistband with hook-and-loop closure can easily accommodate wide belts such as EDC, UTL or Cobra Belts, as it has 50 mm wide belt loops. Even with heavy loading of the belt, the pants do not slip, because thanks to jean-typical cut, the waistband always sits where it should. In addition, the flexible waistband ensures that the pants adapt to any waist.
