Design
The short shaft prevents excessive heat build-up while maintaining full freedom of movement. The model is ideal for multifunctional category A trekking or utility shoes and guarantees a precise fit, supported by the anatomical right/left cut and a specially shaped toe box. This provides a secure fit without pressure points during long marches.
Sole construction and padding
The TK5 Wander Short features targeted padding in the heel, ball and toe areas. These areas are particularly stressed during long periods of use and benefit from light cushioning that reduces impact and prevents pressure points. Despite the additional protection, the direct feel of the shoe is retained, which is particularly advantageous on uneven terrain or in tactical situations where sensitive footing is required.
