A hammock compresses your sleeping bag due to the full weight of the body and restricts the sleeping bag’s performance. Additionally, the insulating layer between ground / sleeping pad and your body / body temperature are missing. Result is your back cooling down quickly - no matter how good your sleeping bag is.
  
  Luckily, Carinthia has a warm solution for your cold problem: The HUQ 180 compensates for the missing insulation and keeps the back and sides warm. HUQ is an abbreviation for Hammock Under Quilt; 180 stands for the 180g/m2 G-LOFT insulation.
  
  The HUQ 180 is inserted into the hammock and, thanks to its generous cut, adapts to all standard hammocks as well as to the sleeper's body shape. The sleeper only needs to adjust the drawstrings to customize and close the underquilt. Because the quilt, unlike a sleeping bag, can be opened completely and doesn`t enclose the sleeper like a cocoon, it is much more suitable for getting in and out of a hammock.   Erste Nacht bei ca 8-10 Grad in der Hängematte mit dem Carinthia Quilt HUQ180 verbracht, und ich muss sagen, lecker warm war es von unten. Habe nicht 1 Minute gefroren, habe bei der Anbringung an der One Tigris Hängematte mit Karabinerhaken den HUQ 180 enger an den Seiten angebracht, so das nichts großartig verrutschen konnte. Qualität ist typisch hochwertig Carinthia, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Kann das Teil für Leute, die mit der Hängematte biwaken, und ein bißchen mehr Geld bereit sind, auszugeben, empfehlen.
