  Merino Long-Sleeve Shirt for Low Temperatures

  The Arc’teryx Cold WX Zip Neck AR is a functional merino long-sleeve shirt for cold-weather operations. It provides reliable warmth, transports moisture away from the body and follows every movement thanks to its stretch material. Its close-fitting cut allows it to integrate easily into multi-layer clothing systems. Weighing 235 g in size L, the base layer adds minimal bulk while still delivering the thermal performance required in low temperatures.

  Full Freedom of Movement Beneath Additional Clothing Layers

  Underarm gussets provide additional freedom of movement and prevent restrictive tension during wide-ranging or repeated arm movements. At the same time, they reduce stress on the seams. This allows the long-sleeve shirt to remain flexible beneath additional clothing layers while retaining its close-to-body fit. The back length is 72 cm.

  Rapid Ventilation Beneath a Plate Carrier

  The quarter-length front zipper provides targeted ventilation without requiring additional equipment to be removed. Particularly beneath a plate carrier, excess heat can be released quickly as physical exertion increases. The generous neck opening also makes the shirt easier to put on and take off.

  Merino Wool with a Durable Nylon Core

  The material consists of 81% wool, 12% nylon and 7% elastane. Merino wool naturally inhibits odour build-up and continues to provide warmth even when damp. With Nylon Core Spun Technology, the wool fibre is reinforced by a stabilising nylon core. This makes the fabric more durable and dimensionally stable without restricting the stretch that a close-fitting base layer requires for unrestricted movement.
