Triple Magazine Placard for Plate Carriers
The Agilite Pincer Placard is a high-performance front placard for plate carrier-compatible systems, designed for users who require quick access, secure retention, and a low profile under real operational conditions. This placard combines elastic magazine pouches with an innovative guide geometry that enables reliable one-handed re-indexing without the risk of magazine loss.
Material and Construction
The placard is made of laser-cut Squadron laminate, a high-strength, laser-cut capable composite material consisting of laminated nylon and a polymer backing. It combines low weight, excellent dimensional stability, and extreme tear resistance, making it ideal for modular, heavily used gear components. The elastic magazine pouches are reinforced with rigid polymer magwells that eliminate common weaknesses of traditional elastic pouches: the polymer components ensure consistent long-term retention, prevent material fatigue, and guarantee reliable performance even after extensive use in dust, moisture, or heat.
Performance and Dimensions
The Agilite Pincer Placard is designed to hold three 7.62 × 51 mm / .308 or 6.8 × 51 mm magazines, including models for SR-25, AR-10, G3, SCAR-H, M110, and SIG 716. It is not compatible with 5.56 mm NATO / AR-15 magazines – a separate version is available for those.
The hook-and-loop panel on the back measures 27 × 13 cm, matching standard placard dimensions of modern plate carriers. Thanks to its low-profile design, the placard maintains a slim silhouette, which is especially advantageous in vehicle operations, urban environments, or dense terrain.Functional Features
The core of the system is its patented, funnel-shaped magwells, which guide the magazine automatically into the optimal insertion angle. This allows for one-handed, snag-free reinsertion – a critical advantage in dynamic scenarios.
Despite the open guide design, the retention remains strong enough to prevent magazine loss during jumps, maritime operations, or rapid movement. The system also enables a silent magazine draw and reinsertion.
Compatibility and Adjustment
The placard is compatible with all placard-ready plate carriers and pack systems. It comes with both polymer MOLLE placard buckles and military-grade G-hooks, offering flexible mounting options.
An integrated height adjustment allows precise adaptation to different plate carrier geometries. Optional retention tabs can be added if required by regulations or specific mission types.
