Powerful EDC Flashlight
The Nitecore EDC29 Luminblade combines a compact form factor with outstanding light performance and tactical functionality. Delivering up to 6,500 lumens in flood mode, it is designed for situations where rapid, maximum illumination is essential. Its robust housing and versatile modes also make it suitable for outdoor missions, search operations, and bushcraft use.
Construction
The body is crafted from titanium-coated stainless steel, providing excellent grip and durability. The flashlight measures approximately 133.5 mm in length, with a head diameter of around 34.6 mm, and a weight of about 160 g.
This combination of a slim, flat design and rugged materials makes it ideal for concealed carry, tactical gear setups, or everyday EDC use. The housing withstands daily wear, transport-related impacts, and demanding outdoor conditions.
Technology
LED
Inside, two NiteLab UHi 20 MAX LEDs deliver a powerful output of up to 6,500 lumens. The optical system is engineered to combine spot and flood characteristics, achieving a maximum beam distance of up to 400 meters and a peak intensity of approximately 40,230 cd.
Lumin Shield and Search Modes
The Lumin Shield mode activates all LEDs to produce an extremely wide 6,500-lumen flood beam — ideal for instantly illuminating large rooms or entire areas. The SEARCH mode uses the main LEDs to create a focused 3,000-lumen spotlight capable of long-range illumination up to 400 meters, enabling precise target or environment identification at distance. Both modes operate as momentary light, providing rapid access when seconds matter.
Power Supply
Power is provided by a built-in 2,500 mAh Li-ion battery, which charges conveniently via USB-C. This eliminates the need for external batteries — ideal for mobile use or variable deployment environments.
Operation
The EDC29 features a tactical dual-stage tail switch: a full press activates on/off, while a half press cycles through the brightness levels. A lateral Rapid-Lock switch prevents accidental activation, making it essential for safe carry in EDC configurations or gear pouches.
An integrated OLED display provides real-time information about brightness level, battery status, and remaining runtime — a valuable advantage during extended operations or when estimating remaining power.
