  Insulation Jacket for Winter Bushcraft

  As temperatures drop, winter-ready clothing becomes essential. The new Helikon-Tex Yukon Winter Jacket is the answer to the challenges of cold-weather outdoor activities. With synthetic insulation and a durable outer material, this insulated parka provides comfortable warmth while moving freely through dense undergrowth.
  

  Duracanvas for Lasting Durability

  Helikon-Tex relies on the proven Duracanvas blend to make the winter jacket resistant to thorns and spark damage. The material is quieter than conventional synthetic insulation jackets and can be individually waxed for additional weather protection.
  

  Reliable Synthetic Insulation

  The jacket’s filling is the moisture-resistant Climashield Apex with a weight of 67g/m². This continuous synthetic fibre provides enduring warmth even under harsh conditions while keeping the jacket lightweight.
  

  Practical Design

  Built to withstand winter conditions, the parka features a lined hood, a high-closing 2-way zipper, and adjustment options via two drawcords and a hook-and-loop strap, providing an excellent fit and sealing that almost makes a scarf unnecessary. The zipper flap prevents cold air from entering, while hook-and-loop-adjustable sleeve ends and the elastic adjustable hem provide additional sealing capabilities. Underarm ventilation zippers allow airflow when working hard or moving through demanding terrain. Two front cord loops can be fitted with carabiners to hold winter gloves, and side loops allow attachment of dump pouches for collecting tinder or berries.
  

  Organized Storage

  The jacket offers a thoughtful selection of pockets to keep bushcraft essentials within easy reach. The two lower zippered pockets with one-sided fleece lining provide warmth for the hands or store gloves or a small saw. Two chest pockets are easily accessible even under a backpack, each with an internal mesh pocket for organizing compasses, phones, fire starters, or knives. The upper arm pocket on the left sleeve includes a securing loop and an external loop surface for patches. Inside, a Napoleon pocket on the left side is ideal for small valuables. Two open internal mesh pockets can keep damp socks or gloves warm and allow them to dry.
