With the HAIX Black Eagle Safety 56 mid, the German specialist for functional footwear introduces a no-compromise duty boot engineered for tactical operations, patrol duty, and safety-critical environments. This mid-cut safety boot merges athletic agility with full-scale S3 protection, making it ideal for law enforcement agencies, military units, police forces, and private security professionals.
Safety and Protection
Compliant with S3 safety class under EN ISO 20345:2011, this boot offers comprehensive protection in daily operations. The ultra-light composite toe cap provides reliable defense against mechanical impacts, while the metal-free puncture-resistant midsole shields against sharp hazards such as nails or shards—without interfering with electromagnetic-sensitive environments. Additional certifications like HRO (heat-resistant sole), CI (cold insulation), WR (waterproof), and ESD (electrostatic discharge) make this boot universally deployable.
Sole Construction
The multi-layered rubber/PU sole system is built for traction, stability, and a dynamic rolling motion. A built-in PU cushioning wedge efficiently absorbs shocks and boosts fatigue resistance during long marches or high-mobility operations. The rugged outsole complies with the SRC standard, providing anti-slip, abrasion resistance, and resistance to oil and fuel-making it ideal for slippery workshop floors, uneven terrain, or wet pavement. Even at low temperatures, the sole remains flexible and guarantees outstanding grip in all weather conditions.
Upper Material
The outer shell is made from durable hydrophobic waterproof leather with a thickness of 2.0–2.2 mm. Breathable and permanently water-repellent, the upper also features Sun Reflect technology to reduce heat buildup from sunlight exposure-especially beneficial during prolonged outdoor or urban deployments. Precision craftsmanship ensures lasting shape retention even under heavy load.
Inner Lining
Inside, the breathable micro-dry lining works in tandem with the patented HAIX Climate System to deliver a balanced foot climate. The system uses natural walking motion to pump moist air out of the boot. Complemented by a sophisticated airflow system integrated into the insole, this setup ensures the boot stays pleasantly dry—even in high-heat environments or long vehicle-based operations.
Fit and Comfort
Designed for extended wear, the HAIX Black Eagle Safety 56 mid is equipped with the HAIX Vario Wide Fit System for precise adjustment to different foot widths using interchangeable insoles. The anatomically shaped insole provides enhanced support and can be replaced if needed. Weighing only approximately 725 g per boot, it minimizes load and increases mobility—crucial for rapid response scenarios and prolonged duty shifts.
