Rugged Tactical Boot with Systematic Performance
The Black Eagle Safety 54 mid combines advanced sole construction with proven safety technology. Engineered for specialized missions, this safety shoe delivers cutting-edge performance and tactical-grade comfort – ideal for law enforcement, military personnel, and outdoor professionals who demand uncompromising protection in challenging environments.
Upper Material
The upper is crafted from specially hydrophobized, waterproof leather with a thickness of 2.0 – 2.2 mm. Designed for durability and breathability, it performs reliably even under extreme conditions. Integrated Sun Reflect technology minimizes heat buildup by reflecting sunlight, keeping internal temperatures lower and enhancing comfort during hot-weather operations and demanding outdoor use.
Sole Construction
Built with a modern athletic-inspired sole concept, the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid offers maximum agility and wear comfort. The slip-resistant rubber/PU outsole features an all-terrain tread pattern for secure footing on pavement and rugged surfaces alike. A lightweight PU cushioning wedge provides enhanced shock absorption and rolling comfort, even over extended periods. The outsole is fuel-resistant, non-marking, and offers excellent cold insulation – a must for extended outdoor deployment. The integrated HAIX Protective Sole, made from flexible metal components, provides certified puncture resistance against sharp hazards. The HAIX Anti Slip profile ensures excellent traction across various terrains, thanks to a specialized rubber compound. Additionally, the shoe is ESD-compliant to DIN EN 61340-4-3:2002, making it safe for use in electrostatically sensitive areas.
Waterproof & Breathable
Equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoe remains permanently waterproof while offering excellent breathability. Whether faced with rain, puddles, or wet terrain, feet stay dry. The system ensures effective moisture management and reduces blistering – even during long marches or extended missions.
Customizable Fit
The comfort insole is softly cushioned, moisture-wicking, and features Airflow channels for enhanced ventilation. A separate heel cup improves stability and cushioning – essential during prolonged wear. The Perfect-Fit marking simplifies sizing checks, while the HAIX Vario Wide Fit System allows for precise width adjustment. The Black Eagle Safety 54 mid is orthopedic insole-compatible in accordance with DGUV Rule 112-191, offering targeted pressure relief, postural support, and optimized foot alignment for better performance and injury prevention during duty.
Lightweight & Metal-Free with Composite Toe Cap
The shoe features a lightweight, fiberglass-reinforced composite toe cap that maintains its shape under impact and meets S3 safety standards. The entire protective foot system is metal-free, ensuring smooth access through security checkpoints and metal detectors – ideal for high-security environments.
Note: Red (medium) insole included. Yellow (wide) and Blue (narrow) insoles sold separately.
