  The Cold WX Pant LT Gen 2.1 is made from rugged 2L GORE-TEX INFINIUM with a 40-denier nylon surface. The “2L” indicates a two-layer construction, consisting of an outer shell made of 100% nylon and an inner GORE-TEX membrane. The 40-denier rating refers to the weight and medium-light fiber strength of the nylon material. This combination ensures wind resistance and high breathability, making it ideal for high-intensity activities in cold temperatures. Additionally, the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating on the fabric’s surface provides an extra layer of water resistance, preventing the insulation from clumping when wet and maintaining its thermal efficiency.
