With improved features to the even better Combat Pant
With its improvements and updates for 2021, Arc`teryx has introduced the Assault Pant AR Gen 2. The even more powerful mission pants impress with improved fit and mobility, with more cargo pockets and an overall reinforced material processing. Durability and a reliable performance for all tactical missions guaranteed!Additional cargo pockets and improved seams
The most noticeable change is in the layout, where an additional cargo pocket on the thigh brings even more storage space while being easily accessible even when combined with body armour or sitting down. Inside the pocket, you’ll find a Daisychain for attaching various pieces of gear. The back pockets have been moved a bit to the side and deepened significantly. They now have no cover and are thus more accessible even with gloves.
Heavily used areas with a tendency to abrasion, such as the cargo pockets and the insert for the kneepad now have a double stitching, so that a breakage can be avoided.No melt /No drip material with adapted shape
The robust No melt / No drip nylon ripstop made of 50% cotton and 50% nylon stands for absolute reliability and doesn`t disappoint even at the most adverse uses. Because above all, value should be placed on extended mobility and better freedom of movement, the cut was adapted and particularly critical points such as the crotch, the knees and the waistband were more ergonomically designed. The adjustment of the width is still made with the side hook-and-loop adjustment and the width of the leg for the transition to the boot can be adjusted by hook-and-loop as well. Belt loops are are made to fit the LEAF Rigger's System.
The Assault Pant AR Gen 2 comes with a pair of soft EV®50 knee pads that can be replaced at any time. Whether used as a Combat Pant or over a warming layer, with Body Armour or without, the many improved technical details of the tactical combat pant and its better fit allow us to say that the second generation Assault Pant is a real upgrade for the field.
