The black Assault Balaclava FR Gen 2 is designed to be worn as a classic ninja-style balaclava but also gives you the option of exposing mouth and nose to either facilitate the wearing of respirators or to regulate ventilation based on the situation. In this mode, the Balaclava functions as a combination of thin beanie and neck gaiter.Optimized neck section
The thin Balaclava not only protects the wearer from involuntary identification, but also against the elements. Sand, wind and sun are particularly reliably warded off if the balaclava has a clean transition to the shirt or jacket and does not expose the wearer's neck.
